Ink Tank Magnet (ITM-1)

This permanent rare earth magnet with stainless steel handle is designed to help in the removal of doctor blade material and other magnetic metals from the ink.

All doctor blades wear. The debris from the blades, as well as debris from other metallic items, is then deposited in the ink. This contamination accumulates in the ink and, at some point, the metallic debris can damage the Anilox roll or Gravure cylinder.

Using the ITM-1 can help keep this potentially expensive problem under control. Just put the ITM-1 in the ink tank at a location where the return line ink flows toward it. The ITM-1 has a tank length of 14 inches (36cm) with a 6 inch (15cm) body length and is easily cleaned.
